First Snow....

well it snowed last night, the first snow of the year.... I don't really like snow


Em has never driven in the snow so this morning before I went to work I took Em out to drive around in a empty parking lot so she could get used driving her car in snow

CHRISTMAS TIME!!

So it's now time to celebrate Christmas, we put our tree up the day after Thanksgiving. its a little tree but we're little people, so it fits. It was the only one we could afford last year, but we love that 3 foot tall beauty. We're really looking forward to having our family around especially Mel, Gary, Tyler, Halle, and Owen. I just love the feeling this time of year brings. I hope everyone enjoys this Christmas season.

GPS

Emily has a horrible sense of direction so I bought her a GPS Navigator. I got a really great deal on it too. its retail is over 300 and I got it for just over 100. But its pretty much the coolest thing ever. I would recommend getting one. I feel a little better with her driving now.

Well Jenn tagged Em and Me, so I guess we're suppose to write 6 things about us.. well since we share this blog here it goes:

Emily -

1. I played Ice Hockey. I was the meanest girl out there. I even took out my coaches on the ice and duct taped them.
2. I hate gravy beyond all belief, even the sight of it makes me want to puke.
3. I have a very hard time remembering to zip up my zipper when I wear a belt or have 2 buttons on my pants.... it must be that third step I just dont get.

Matt -
1. In my free time I like to play guitar, watch tv and play on the computer all at the same time making it IMPOSSIBLE for Emily to be able to do anything.
2. I Got a job because of my clean-cut good looks.
3. When I was 3 years old I lassoed the fireplace and pulled it out, it is still broken to this day.

I wrote for Em and Em wrote for me. Well I guess thats about it. we don't really know anyone on here that hasn't already been tagged so I guess we're still it or something....

Serious

I told my class last week that I would be very serious this week with them, and stop going off topic. So I wore a suit and parted my hair. how can you not take someone with their hair parted serious? ......
It didnt really work, I think they took me even less serious this time

Sunday School

I was called to teach the 14 and 15 year olds sunday school class. I have fun doing it. My class is very small last week I had the most ever, 4 kids.
I'm very easy to get off topic and the kids have learned that so a lot of times I'm only teaching for a few mins and the rest of class we're talking about everything but the lesson. I asked of the of girls that never really comes to say the closing prayer I think she didnt like the fact that I asked her to say it, because she made fun of me during the prayer. she said " thank you for the lesson, even though it wasn't really a lesson" it was pretty funny
